Location

Castlereagh Academy is located 40km west of Sydney or 4km north of Penrith (access from M4 Motorway). Castlereagh Academy is on the edge of the Penrith Lakes Scheme, adjacent to Olympic Rowing Course; connected with the Heritage Chapel (1817), Hall, Cemetery and Bell Tower.

Accommodation

The Centre has accommodation for a total of 48 persons - one cabin equipped for disadvantaged persons. Located on the site are 6 air conditioned cabins each with 4 separate bedrooms with double bunks, accommodating 8 persons - Living area, 2 ensuites, T.V., Microwave , linen supplied for a small fee. Blow up mattresses are available on request. Residential use is suitable for Retreat groups, Seminars, workshops and recreational (rowing teams, school excursion groups welcome) . The chapel is available as a wedding venue.

Dining Room/Meeting room, Heritage Chapel, Bell Tower, Memorial hall to accommodate 100 persons Ample space for retreat and quiet time experiences.

Grassed playing areas suitable for soft ball activities.

The Centre is conveniently located adjacent to Blue Mountains, Penrith Lakes Environment Educational Centre, White Water Rafting, Olympic Rowing Course, Museum of Fire, Penrith Swimming Centre, Muru Mittigar Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Tenpin bowling, Simply Skydive, University of Western Sydney Observatory.

Catering

Quotes available if desired, otherwise self-catered. Bed and Breakfast alone, is an option.
